Story
Cancer is cruel disease that sadly 1 in 2 people will develop in some form during their lifetime. Unfortunately, cancer is impacting more of us sooner, with an upsurge in cases of early onset cancer in otherwise healthy, active people in their thirties.
Fortunately, the brilliant work and scientific advancements made by The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity helps sufferers either beat the disease or enjoy many healthy, happy and “normal” years living with it.
In a show of support, solidarity and friendship, 5 mates (Rob, Viral, Abi, Billy and Guillaume) decided to raise some money for this brilliant charity by cycling (or running, with an apparently conservative 2x multiplier) 10,000km between us over 12 months including a gruelling climb up Puig Major, the highest peak in Majorca (with a little help from our local friends, Vinny and Dallas). During our time in Majorca, our skin was protected by LifeJacket (https://lifejacketskin.com/pages/our-story), a skin-care business founded by Billy to encourage everyday skin protection with the single mission of stopping the increase in skin cancer. We are delighted to report that we have now successfully hit our cycling target and please ask for any kind donations to this important cause.
