Story
The Mental Health Foundation is the UK’s charity for everyone’s mental health.
With prevention at the heart of what they do, the Mental Health Foundation aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.
15th - 21st may is Mental Health Awareness Week and the theme is anxiety.
The plan is to set off the 1,345m hike carrying stones weighing 25kg not including water and other equipment. The stones will represent anxiety that we all can carry at varying points in our lives. Once the summit is reached the stones will be released to symbolise better health and wellbeing. I expect then to float down the mountain and back to the pub.
Update - K2 Management now have a further 4 people committed to the hike up Ben Nevis.
Anyone else who wants to join this hike is welcome, together we are stronger.
