The majority of us have been touched by cancer in someway or another be IT family members friends or even as individuals. I myself lost both parents to it as well as my mother in law and other relatives.

At just 24 years old Alice Greaves from Old Dalby, Leicestershire, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is dedicated to raising awareness and fundraising for the incredible cancer research and trials that are happening locally and so, on the 23rd August 2025, Alice, and many others, are cycling from Old Dalby to Sheringham, Norfolk, a journey of 125 miles.

The ride is in aid of Hope Against Cancer, a local charity that funds cancer research and supports treatment and trials at the Hope Cancer Trials Centre in the Leicester Royal Infirmary.

Alice is a true inspiration - her ongoing battle against this awful disease including a chemo regime for a recently diagnosed brain tumour whilst arranging the event and maintaining a positive can do attitude is simply amazing. There was no way I could not take part again......we need your support!!!!
