We are hoping to raise £48,000 which could fund the recruitment, training and salary of a nurse for a year, to ensure more people in Coventry and Warwickshire can access quality palliative and end of life care.

Story

I’m Rob and in a moment of questionable judgment, I have decided to run not just one, but TWO very hilly marathons, with an elevation of 2800m.

Aside from a midlife crisis (joke!), I’m doing this to support an amazing cause. I will be running to raise money for Myton Hospice.

Your donation will not only fuel me through this epic journey but also make a real difference to Myton Hospice. Every pound you give is another reason to push me to keep going.

On Sat 5th October I will be running from Perranporth to St Ives, and doing the same distance on Sunday - St Ives to Lands End.

The person who used to consider getting off the couch a workout is now gearing up to run 52.4 miles.

For the past five months, I’ve swapped my sofa for running shoes and Netflix marathons for actual marathons. And now, I need your help to make all this sweat, blisters, and questionable life choices worth it!

Thank you so much for your support.

(My next go fund me page will probably be for a new set of knees!!)
