Story

In 2004 I lost my dad, best friend & mentor to this horrific disease & have been waiting for a challenge that just felt right. When I read the Action Challenge opportunities the 106Km Ultra walk around the Isle of Wight in under 24hrs seemed the perfect challenge. This disease has affected me but also my wife Amy who lost her uncle Andrew this year. He too was a close supporter of Amy’s career & her amazing challenge in completing the Rob Burrows marathon in 2023.

This challenge is my way of saying a massive thank you to my dad for everything he gave me & to raise a serious amount of money so that one day a cure can be found. My training has begun & I know it will be tough but people who know me know I love a challenge so I will give it everything to beat the challenge & raise loads of money.

Thank you all in advance for your support & I will keep you updated along the way.
