Story
Stupidly, and in a moment of temporary insanity, I agreed to do this charity bike ride from Manchester to Blackpool with a load of my workmates. Thank you in advance for your generosity if you do choose to sponsor me.
I don't usually like asking for sponsorship money for stuff off people and I haven't ridden a bike that far in years, but I can't really back out now.
Two days ago I cycled from my mum's house into the local town that was about 5 miles by way of starting my training and it was painful, I sweated A LOT and I was absolutely knackered by the end of it. Oh well, here goes... and besides, it's for a good cause because, you know just as Whitney sang: "I believe the children are the future, teach them well and let them lead the way"!
Anyway, this is what the official line says:
The Talent Foundry focuses on empowering young people from under-served backgrounds to discover what they are amazing at, develop invaluable employment skills, and take that crucial first step into the world of work.
By generously supporting this cause, you will be making a difference in the lives of these young people. Your donation will play a pivotal role in helping The Talent Foundry provide the resources and support necessary for each young person to uncover their unique talents.
