Story

I am running the London and Edinburgh Marathons to raise money for Bowel Cancer UK.

In March 2023 my sister-in-law, Charley, lost her fight with bowel cancer. She was only 52 years old. Charley worked in London and lived in Edinburgh, so I am running both marathons in memory of her.

Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer with over 16,000 people dying annually of a disease that is preventable, treatable and curable. I'm determined to help Bowel Cancer UK to change that.

I can't do cancer research, but I can put one foot in front of the other. And if by doing so, I can help raise funds to further research and treatment of this terrible disease, I am grateful for the opportunity to do so.
