Support Team IPSEA in the 2024 Royal Parks Half Marathon to help children with SEND access the education they are legally entitled to.

Story

All children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) have a right to an education that meets their individual needs.

But tens of thousands of children are not getting the support they are legally entitled to.

If you are an parent raising a child with a disability your life is complicated enough. Fighting to get your child's needs met is exhausting.

Unfortunately, the SEND system is complex and littered with unlawful decision-making. Many families don't understand how to navigate the system, and innocent children suffer because of it.

IPSEA is here to change that.

IPSEA provide free support and legal advice to families. They help children get the support they are entitled to.

Having a sister who has special educational needs I've seen the difficulties my parents experienced.

So I'm supporting IPSEA by running the Royal Parks Half Marathon. Having never run further than 5k it's going to be a challenge for me!

I hope you will consider donating towards this important cause. Thank you.
