A year ago, in early February 2024, my brother took his own life. It was sudden, unexpected and completely out of character.

I could write a million words here and it would never be enough to explain what Matt meant to me. In the last few years we had drifted apart a little but that never stopped me loving him, he was my absolute hero and losing him has left a gaping hole that can never be filled.

Matt was a much loved son, brother, husband, father, uncle and friend. He has a wonderful family, was hugely popular and had a great circle of friends. His family and friends miss him dearly.

In memory of Matt, I am running the Brighton Half Marathon raising funds for James' Place.

All funds raised (big or small) go directly to the charity and can help save a life.
