I'm running the London Marathon 2026 for We Are All Making A Difference, a local charity working with zero overheads and distributing the funds predominantly within the West Midlands region regardless of race, colour, creed or age.

After running the 2025 event for WAAMAD and raising over £2,000, I’m back for more to fundraise for such a brilliant and important charity.

We Are All Making A Difference has granted a long list of wishes over the years, with recent donations put towards several worthy causes, including:

- Holidays to Disneyland Florida for children and their families who have life-threatening illnesses, along with the necessary medical staff and carers

- A UK holiday for ten severely disabled children at Victoria School, together with their very necessary one-to-one carers, later this year

- Specialised seat for a fourteen-year-old girl who has Pitt Hopkins Syndrome, is non-verbal and a wheelchair user, with the seat enabling her to spend time out of her wheelchair by giving her the customised support her body needs

- Additional support for various local charities, including Acorns Children’s Hospice, Age UK Solihull and Molly Ollys

The charity has raised more than millions in fundraising and its motto is ‘may we always be in a position to give and never to receive’.

All money raised goes directly to beneficiaries without any deduction whatsoever for administrative or other overheads. The funds raised are vital to allow We Are All Making A Difference to continue its long-term support of so many local core groups, who receive little or no funding elsewhere.

I’d like to emphasise once again that every £1 you donate - whether it’s £1, £10, or even £100 - goes entirely to the people who need it most. Nothing is taken for administrative costs, meaning every penny raised goes directly to those in need.
