Story
On Saturday 27 June, Luke and I are back for another go at Total Warrior in Leeds. It’s a brutal mix of mud, obstacles and a lot of cold water, and this year I’m raising money for Breast Cancer Now.
Since January, I’ve been supporting my mum through her diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer. While the prognosis in her case is good, I’ve seen first hand just how much there is to cope with. Breast Cancer Now has been there from the start, offering advice and helping with the difficult questions along the way. Going through this with my mum has shown me just how vital their work is, and it’s why I want to give something back.
One in seven women in the UK will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. The work this charity does reaches an enormous number of people, and it only continues with the support of people who fundraise for it.
Every donation, whatever the size, goes towards research and support that genuinely changes lives. Thank you, it means a great deal.
