On 26 June 2024 my dad was riding his bike when he was hit by a car coming out of a minor road at 40mph. We are lucky to still have him with us.

After spending weeks in James Cook hospital he came home at the end of August and since then he has been attending Headway groups.

Headway have been an incredible support for him and helped him adjust to his new normal.

On 2nd March, I am returning to Middlesbrough to run the half marathon to raise funds for Headway. This will be my very first run at this distance.
