We take it for granted that if we or a loved one needs an air ambulance it’ll be there. But the crazy thing is, the air ambulance service is an independent charity, which receives no government funding!

Right now Stoke Air Ambulance is aiming to raise 2.5 million pounds a year to provide a new service for Stoke on Trent and the surrounding areas.

So on the 4th of September my friend Baz and I will be setting off from Lands End, and cycling over 1000 miles to reach John O’ Groats, whilst carrying everything we need with us.
