Tour de Autism · 30 March 2024

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

My inspiration for the Tour de Autism is my boy Harry. Harry is 4 and and received his diagnosis at the start of 2023. Nothing has changed Harry is still our beautiful little boy, but what we have learned as a family on this journey is that although we were aware of Autism, we did not know a lot about Autism.

Following completing running 100miles in October 2022, a bucket collection at Barnsley Fc and a Raffle of sporting goods for the National Autistic Society I thought what next, I haven't rode a bike for a while, how about a Tour de Autism !

In order to say thank you to some of the football clubs who donated prizes for the prize draw in 2023 and Harrys love of football, I thought let's cycle between the grounds to raise funds and raise awareness of autism.
