Hi there,

We are raising money for The Fire Fighters Charity. A charity organisation that has supported not just many firefighters, but their families as well. And continues to do so. A firefighters role is to keep the public safe when they need it most, this charity is here to help us when we need it most.

From a personal point of view I was helped back onto my feet last year & supported back to work after a long spell off duty. As a way of saying thanks and to commemorate the charity’s 80th Anniversary, members of Amber Watch Motherwell and myself will be attempting the Three Peaks Challenge within 24hours. I’ll also be attempting this in full firefighting kit. Being a firefighter can be tough and is all about teamwork, this certainly will be no different!
