Campaign by Prostate Scotland (RCN SC037494)
Tackling Munros in June to raise funds to provide special help packs for men undergoing treatment for prostate cancer and disease - the Prostate Scotland & Grand Lodge of Scotland Prospack initiative and for research on living with prostate disease.

Story

My challenge will be tackling Beinn Ghais, Ben Lawers, Meall nan Tarmachan, Ben Vorlich and Stuc a’ Chroin Munros on the weekend of the 10-11th June 2023.

1 in 10 men in Scotland is at risk of prostate cancer and nearly 1 in 2 is likely to have prostate disease at some stage in their life. Prostate Scotland is working in partnership with the Grand Lodge of Scotland to help ameliorate the affects of going through treatment for prostate cancer and disease. Together we are aiming to make available special care packs (PROSPACKS) to help men in Scotland going through treatment if they are having surgery, radiotherapy or chemotherapy for prostate cancer. These packs will contain a range of helpful and essential items to help men as they go through treatment.

The Masons4Munro Challenge involves an exciting challenge to raise the funds to support the PROSPACK initiative involving representatives from Provinces within Grand Lodge hiking a series of Munro mountains in Scotland during the month of June 2023. Please support me in this challenge by giving generously.
