Story
I’m running the Great North Run this year in memory of my mum. Mainly because my sister bullied me into signing up — and now it feels only right that some good should come from all the pain, regret, and inevitable suffering my legs are about to endure.
Sue Ryder were absolutely brilliant with my mum and our family during such a difficult time. The support, care, and kindness they showed us meant more than I can put into words, and they will always be a charity I’m proud to support.
If you’re able to donate, any support would be hugely appreciated. Thank you.
Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with Sue Ryder's support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.
