Hi,

I became a father in August 2023 to a beautiful baby girl.

I was extremely fortunate that my daughter was born without any complications and my amazing partner recovered in good time.

One of the things I remember most about being in that delivery room is the about of time spent waiting & in my experience my time spent waiting was rewarded with good news, leaving me sighing with relief.

However, unfortunately this isn't the case for many families. Many receive news that no parent should ever have to hear.

The Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) rely on fundraising in order to purchase essential specialist equipment, training & development of the SCBU team as well as assisting families who need to travel to the UK for their babies to receive treatment.

These units treat and fight for approximately 90,000 babies per year, so I thought I do my best to fight for them.
