Story
In September 2024, my beautiful wife Kaye was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer of the bile ducts. It’s a devastating illness that’s often not discovered until it’s at an advanced stage, as it typically presents few or no symptoms early on.
From the moment we received the diagnosis, Kaye faced everything with incredible strength, courage and optimism. As a family, we stood together and did everything we could to support her through this time, remaining hopeful every step of the way. Sadly, despite her bravery and determination, Kaye passed away on 10th May 2025.
We are heartbroken, but incredibly proud of how she carried herself throughout this journey. To honour her memory, we are raising funds for AMMF, the UK’s only cholangiocarcinoma charity, and a cause that is now deeply personal to us.
Cholangiocarcinoma is still widely under-researched and under-recognised, meaning charities like AMMF are vital in changing outcomes for future patients.
By donating, you are helping us continue Kaye’s fight and supporting the vital work AMMF does every day. Any amount, large or small, is deeply appreciated.
Thank you so much for your support, love, and kindness.
