Tobias James Pudner - Forever Eleven 🧡
At the end of January 2025 we lost our beautiful brave boy -Tobias after an extended stay of four months in Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.
During the sixteen weeks accomodation within walking distance of the hospital was generously provided by The Sick Children's Trust and we will be forever grateful to them for providing a little light in the dark which felt like a warm hug at the end of each long day.
I shall be running the 2027 London Marathon to both honor 'T' in his fourteenth birthday year and show my gratitude to The Sick Children's Trust for their kindness, comfort and care and it brings great comfort to know that in turn this will help other families benefit from the lifeline, hope and support that the charity provides.
The Sick Children's Trust is the charity that gives families with a seriously ill child in hospital a comfortable place to stay and a friendly ear to listen in one of our ten Homes from Home. Hospital can be a lonely and scary place for anyone, but especially a child. Providing families with somewhere to stay together just minutes from the hospital means that they can be by their sick child's side and have one less thing to worry about.
With the help of so many generous supporters, we have helped over 73,000 families since 1982, with a welcoming place to stay when they have really needed it.
