It is simple really. Alfie and I are running from Salisbury Cathedral to Winchester Cathedral (42.2KM) along The Clarendon Way - to raise money for this essential charity. , 20 April 2024
We fight for the hope of young people to create a society built for all children

Story

Last year Alfie and I each set ourselves a physical target - mine to run The Clarendon Way and his to complete an Iron Man. We both achieved our goals.

I ran The Clarendon Way in September last year with a group of friends and through it became aware of The Children's Society - a national charity, working with young people to counsel and support them through their most serious life challenges. They campaign tirelessly for the big social changes that will improve the lives of those who need hope most. They are a charity that has been around for 140 years and state that they won't stop until we've built a society where hope is alive in every child.

Alfie (my nephew) and I have now set ourselves a new target, to run The Clarendon Way together, for fun. Only now with the added motivation that in doing so, we will raise money for this most essential, life giving and life changing charity.

My promise: for every £ that is donated towards my target of £1,500 - I will match that donation £ for £ ❤️❤️❤️

About the charity

We are a national charity working to transform the hopes and happiness of young people facing abuse, exploitation and neglect. We support them through their most serious life challenges and we campaign tirelessly for the big social changes that will improve the lives of those who need hope most.
