Me and my son Bobby have decided he is going to compete in Darlington fun run this year again, last year he managed to raise £603 for he's Saturday morning youth club, T21.

He dose not expect to reach the eye watering amount has last year, but every little helps

As most of yous know Bobby as only been in my care for the past 18months and he is going from strength to strength.

Last year we where last with quite a lot of stops, this year will be good to see how he has progressed himself. As he is always wanting to run everywhere. 🏃‍♂️

Please give what you can to this amazing charity that helps not only the children but also offers very good advise from these amazing children's parents, support group.

TOGETHER 21 is family-centred project that provides fun-packed weekly sessions to support children and young people with Down syndrome 0 to 18 yrs, supporting both child & family acquire essential skills to equip them to meet the future with confidence. This unique project provides a safe space for children and families to build friendships within peer groups, develop practical /social skills, boost confidence and celebrate successes whilst encouraging every child to realise their individual potential.

Sessions focus on;

Speech/Language/Communication (including Makaton)

Literacy/Numeracy

Sensory Play

Fine/Gross Motor-Skills

Social Skills/Emotional Wellbeing

School Preparation

All monies go to ensuring this service can continue to support families both now and in the future.
