Katy Miles,  Brian 'Buster' Bailey, Carol Mein and Sue Greenwood.

I will be riding the 70 Kms sportive on behalf of The Gloucestershire Old Blue Lamp Breakfast club in memory of my friends and colleagues Katy Miles,  Brian 'Buster' Bailey, Carol Mein and Sue Greenwood.

Over the last couple of years these lovely people lost their battles with cancer and many will know they spent their final days in the care of the Nursing Staff at The Sue Ryder Hospice at Leckhampton Court. 

I served at different times in my Police service with all four people. Carol at Stroud, Brian at Bamfurlong, Sue at Cheltenham and Katy at Gloucester. 

I was always struck by their dedication to service and their professionalism, but more than that, they were just great fun to work with.

In total they have nearly 100 years of service in The Gloucestershire Constabulary.

My hope is to raise  a target of £600 in sponsorship for this charity in their memory.
