Starting a cancer journey is a whirlwind of appointments and information and not much time to process what is happening to you and your body and your loved ones and the impact on their lives. And yet, this has happened, last summer our lives changed and I was told I have lobular breast cancer and lymph cancer. There are many steps along the way, surgery, chemotherapy, drugs, radiotherapy and what seems at times to be endless list of side effects. Support comes in many ways to help along this road, family, friends, professionals, charities like Breast cancer now. I am happy to support this Afternoon Tea event - so look out friends and family I’ll be checking in with you to get baking too! Hopefully the tea will take place in August so watch out for the date.
