I am raising money for the SVP by walking 100Km of the Camino De Santiago.

The SVP is a nationwide front line charity dedicated to tackling poverty and supporting individuals and families facing loneliness, hardship and the wide range of challenges that life can throw up. https://svp.org.uk/our-work.

The money I raise will be split 50/50 between SVP national charity and my local SVP conference based in Clitheroe.

In the last year our Clitheroe conference made 1,354 local visits to families, elderly at home and in care homes, people in hospital, offenders/ex-offenders, refugees and asylum seekers and those suffering from mental health. In addition we were able to provide over £6,000 in support to these people and our twin SVP conference in South Sudan.

Lastly, I would like to make it clear that I am paying for all my own costs to take part in this walk, so all of any donation you are able to give will go to the St. Vincent de Paul charity (SVP)
