As some people already know, my mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2023 and my father-in-law with vascular dementia in 2022. I am doing this run with my sister, Amanda, the most we have run is 10k so it’s going to be hard, but not as hard as this awful disease and how it not only affects the person with it but also their family.
