Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm having a fun night in the blues club ballyclare on the 24th of August 2024 to raise money for hope house charity which was a massive help for me and Jim during his treatment. The night will involve raffles with various prizes, bingo, bottle tosses, music and myself (Roberta Shannon) shaving my hair off! It will be an enjoyable family friendly night for all in memory of my beloved Jimbo!
Jim was diagnosed with brain cancer November 2023 he enjoyed a Christmas with family before begining treatment at the start of 2024 unfortunately the cancer spread rapidly and he fought with dignity until the end! We had several trips to hope house where we could escaped for a while, when we visited hope house we would always call into larne golf club islandmagee which jimbo loved! Jim lost his battle with cancer on the 8th of September 2023 leaving us all heartbroken! We will always be thankful to hope house and this is why I want to fundraise for them as the work they do is really important.
