🌙 Why I’m Asking for Your Support🫵
On 21st March, I’ll be taking part in the Luton Sleepout, and I’m not doing it alone.
My two boys, Vito (age 12) and Santino (age 8), are joining daddy, as we give up our beds for a night to help raise awareness and vital funds for three incredible local charities supporting people facing homelessness and crisis: NOAH Enterprise, IMPAKT Housing & Support, and Stepping Stones (Luton).
We’re not pretending to fully understand what it truly means to sleep rough. The Sleepout isn’t meant to simulate homelessness. But it is an opportunity to get even the smallest glimpse into what far too many people in our community face every single night; cold, uncertainty, insecurity, and to spark the conversations that need to happen.
For my boys, it’s a powerful lesson in empathy and community responsibility.
For me, it’s a reminder of how fortunate we are, and how much of a difference we can make by coming together.
💙 Why This Matters
Homelessness isn’t always visible. It’s not just tents, sleeping bags, or doorways.
It can be:
🛋️ sofa-surfing
🏚️ temporary or unsafe accommodation
🥊 escaping domestic abuse
🚗 living out of a car
or simply having nowhere stable to call home
Behind every one of these situations is a real person, someone’s parent, sibling, friend; who needs safety, compassion, and support.
That’s exactly what these charities provide:
NOAH Enterprise
Warm meals, showers, medical care, advice, pathways into training, work, and stable housing.
IMPAKT Housing & Support
Over 200 safe accommodation spaces, trauma-informed support, domestic abuse services, a community larder, and practical help for people rebuilding their lives.
Stepping Stones (Luton)
A lifeline for women experiencing domestic abuse or trauma—offering therapeutic support, empowerment, and a safe space to heal.
These organisations operate on the frontline. They meet people at their lowest moments, and they help them move toward stability, dignity, and a future.
🙏 How You Can Help
If you’re able to, please consider sponsoring us.
Every penny goes directly to the charities, 100% to the frontline work that changes lives right here in our community.
And if you can’t donate, simply sharing our fundraising page is hugely appreciated and makes a real difference.
We’re proud to be part of an event that shows what Luton does best: caring, standing together, and taking action.
Thank you so much for your support, from me, Vito, Santino, and everyone involved in the Luton Sleepout.
Together, we can help more people find safety, hope, and a place to call home.
