I'm running to raise money in memory of my nephew Arran Johnson - who was only 22 when he died by suicide last year - and to support all that Movember do to raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention. Arran was sensitive, kind, gentle and fun, with a beautiful smile and a passion for cars. Like many similar young men, he had so much going for him, but felt he couldn’t go on living. In the UK, three out of four suicides are by boys and men; Movember works tirelessly to stop these precious lives from being cut short, and to help those in crisis reach out for support.

We can't bring Arran back, but we can remember him and will do our best to help others who are struggling today. I’m running for Arran, and for all the other nephews, sons, brothers, dads, and grandsons and their families. Please help to make a difference if you can.
