Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I've signed up for Midnight Mayhem, a white collar boxing event which takes place in Barcelona in January 2027.

I'm fighting to raise money for Parkinson's UK. Most of all I'm fighting for my dad Bill Hutchison and uncle Neil McCulloch who are both afflicted by the condition.

Though my dad has never been into boxing, he was the man who introduced me to sport, ferrying me up and down the country as we followed Derby County and Derbyshire County Cricket Club home and away throughout my childhood.

Neil spent many a Saturday night watching boxing with my maternal grandfather Fergus at the Kelvin Hall in Glasgow, including bouts featuring Scottish legends Jim Watt and Ken Buchanan.

Dad and Neil have fights of their own now, as do families up and down the country who are living with conditions like Parkinson's. If I can do anything to help, even if that is making a fool of myself in the ring, I feel I'll be contributing in some small way.

So will you if you can spare a shekel or two for a good cause.
