I'm not a cyclist, I pottered about on my bike during Covid but then mostly left it to gather dust in the garage. I''ve now decided to jump on my bike to cycle from East Grinstead to Paris to raise funds for my daughter's school. The first day is 35 miles, the 2nd day 70 miles and the final day is 50 miles. I've done some training, but this will still be a difficult challenge for me: I'm terrified going down hills and potholes and speeding cars are not my friends. My daughter is in her final year of John Ball Primary School. The pain I will feel in my bottom and legs is a small thank you to the teachers, staff and parents who have all played a part in helping to make my daughter the wonderful person she is today.
