From running schools in refugee camps & settlements to offering university & training scholarships, we believe education transforms society.

Story

Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.

I am walking a marathon distance (c.26 miles) along the Thames Path - Godstow to Brightwell-cum-Sotwell. Several friends and colleagues, as well as Windle alumni, are joining me in the walk

The aim is to raise funds for Windle International's work in East Africa supporting the education of refugee girls.

Refugee girls face many cultural and practical barriers to their education. Windle works in schools in Kenya and Uganda supporting the education of over 150,000 girls. These funds will enable us to expand our support activities to ensure more girls remain in school.
