Story
Gertcha.
I had bacterial meningitis over 30 years ago and came within an ace of dying pretty painfully or incurring life-changing disabilities,

But thankfully the staff at Liverpool's Royal University Hospital were on their game ... and I'm approaching 51 already - yay!
I'm raising funds to counter this hideous disease and its evil impacts by way of hiking the Cheviot 99 hills before 2025 is out +++ DELAYED TO 2026, RESUMED JANUARY, and 71 / 99 climbed by 18 March 2026! +++ (I've come to love hiking and so am genning up to do all the Wainwrights, Donalds, and Munros at least, too, but that's all later).
