In Ramadan, Muslims choose to fast—but many in our city have no choice but hunger. This year, we are fundraising for Himmah, a Nottingham-based social justice charity that has been tackling food poverty and inequality since 2010. Through their food bank, affordable social supermarkets, and hot meal services, Himmah ensures that families in crisis do not go hungry.

With the rising cost of living and food prices tripling in the last two years, Himmah’s support is needed more than ever—but they can't do it alone. That’s why we are stepping up to help. Will you join us?

Why We’re Supporting Himmah?

Last year alone, Himmah distributed over 12,000 food parcels, provided hot meals to those in need, and helped families access support services to rebuild their lives. Their impact is enormous, but so is the growing need.

Himmah was founded in 2010 after recognizing the urgent need within the community. Since then, it has run a food bank & social supermarkets to help people access affordable food; provided hot meals for individuals and families facing crisis; empowered communities through financial literacy and cooking classes; and supported refugees, asylum seekers, and struggling families in Nottingham.
