On the 13th December 2023 our colleague and friend Andy Greene was cruelly taken from us far too soon at the young age of 43. Andy was a great Estate Agent, colleague, friend and boss and I am sure those who were lucky enough to work with him over the years will mirror these thoughts.

Lucky for me 23 years ago while searching for a job in Estate Agency Andy answered the phone and upon asking if any jobs were going for a trainee he said yes. Within the hour I had seen him for an interview and I started my career in agency the following day. I worked with Andy for three years initially and then again for a year later in my career. I have a lot to be thankful to him for and I will be forever grateful for the opportunity he gave me. Not only was he a great teacher and boss he was a bloody good Estate Agent and a fantastic ear outside of the work environment. I have a rather young-looking photo of us both when I first started and Andy has hair!!! I am more than happy to share it with those that want to see it. (Nick Menzies)

It felt right to do something in Andy's memory so five of us from the Robinson Jackson Group family have embarked on the journey of running the Great North Run on the 8th of September 2024. This is a hilly half marathon - 13.1 miles or 21.1km that starts in the middle of Newcastle and ends on the coast at South Shields. Our team includes Sam Lund, John Speer, Leon Hudson, Stuart Harris and Nick Menzies and we are running for The British Heart Foundation. Sam, Leon and Stuart are pretty much doing couch to half marathon which is some journey. Sam and John are aiming for a sub 2 hour time and Stuart and Leon 2 hour 30 minutes.

With a month to go any small donation you can spare is greatly appreciated in memory of a great man and fantastic cause.
