Story
Friends,
Times are tough, and money is scarce. Add to that - there are *so* many good people doing good, charitable deeds. I know this might just seem like just another person's fundraising request. Therefore I am - immensely - grateful to you for reading this... and potentially donating.
The Maia Mouse Foundation exists in memory of Maia Olivia Baum, who died a fortnight before her first birthday in 2016.
The Foundation fundraises and provides financial support, by way of grants, to give to children with life limiting conditions. Awarded grants can be used in several ways, one being to fund a break or a holiday for the child with their family, in order to give some relief and provide means for memory making.
Perhaps take a look at the work they do and have done, at https://maiamousefoundation.org.uk/
In 55 days I will be beginning a 120 kilometre / 90 mile ultramarathon across the Sahara Desert, in Morocco. Day 1 = 25km (15.5 miles). Day 2 = 60km (37 miles). And then - after a rest day - Day 4 = another 25km.

All costs are being borne entirely by myself. Any and all donations very gratefully received.
