On the 26th September, I will be abseiling down the Norwich Forum to raise money for Star Throwers, an amazing cancer charity in Wymondham that supports those diagnosed with cancer, providing wellbeing services, community and most importantly time and information to become well-informed and have your questions answered.

Myself, and a huge number of my colleagues will join me for this Star Throwers event, so please come down to Millennium Plain and show your support. There’ll be near 80 of us in total conquering the Forum that day, and I’m sure any one of us would appreciate your support!

Last year, a lady in my team was diagnosed with breast cancer, and this has inspired a group of us, myself included, to organise events to raise money for Star Throwers and start a wider fundraising effort throughout the year, Challenge 150. Our mission is to raise awareness about the importance of self-examination, to raise funds for cancer charities and to support them by volunteering our time.

'Why Challenge 150?' - the answer is simple; over 150 new breast cancer cases are diagnosed in the UK every day (Source: Cancer Research UK).

Please give what you can, as a small local charity this money will go a long way and help a lot of people who are going through an incredibly tough time.
