Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community and focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research to £35 million per year and funding sustainable Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Story

My son Louie passed away at just 6 months of age after his battle with a brain tumour.

Not long after diagnosis, it became apparent that a positive outcome was not on the cards for Louie, even with some of the brightest medical minds on his side.

I am running this marathon in memory of Louie, so that in the future there is hope for children like him.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
