Story

The absent friends tour

Rob Walker to run and cycle more than 1000 miles from John O’Groats to Land’s End in memory of absent friends

From 5th- 23rd June I’m cycling and running from John O’Groats to Land’s End in memory of three great mates and my son’s best friend, all of whom tragically passed away in the last 18 months.

To honour Robin, Martyn, Stephen and George I’ll be raising money for two brilliant causes – the Jessie May Children’s Hospice and The Brain Tumour Charity.

Every day I’ll be leaving bottles of champagne along the way so that people can toast my mates with theirs. And, anyone who donates will automatically be entered into a draw to win an all-expenses paid holiday to Uganda – a country very close to my heart.

There will be lots of famous faces along the way. If you want to join me and do a few miles in memory of your mates, get in touch.

You can follow my progress on Instagram, Strava and Twitter

Thanks for your support,

Rob
