Story
Mental Health is a national emergency which affects 1 in 4 people across England & Wales - many of whom do not have access to sufficient support and resources to help battle the daily, on-going battles that come with struggling mental health.
Mind Charity works tirelessly towards three main priorities:
- CHANGING MINDS: Campaigning to make mental health an everyday priority: in healthcare, in work and in law.
- SUPPORTING MINDS: Providing mental health support through information, advice and local services.
- CONNECTING MINDS: Creating an unstoppable network of individuals and communities – people who care about mental health to make a difference.

On Saturday 24th August 2024, Myself and James will be participating in the National Three Peaks Challenge in solidarity with Mind, and anybody currently struggling with poor mental health, or whom are on their journey to recovery.
The National Three Peaks challenge is an intense trek which involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England & Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon) in 24 hours. The challenge is a total walking distance of 23 miles and a total ascent of 3064 metres.
We will be completing this challenge in memory of my sister, Alexandria Mary Pierce-Baddeley (or Alex, Lal to most) who passed away in May 2020. This loss left behind a huge void in the lives of family, friends and all who knew and appreciated Alex's bright personality, brilliant sense of humour and fierce loyalty to those she loved.
