I am going to be running The London Landmarks Half Marathon for The Police Children’s Fund, in honour of my 6 year old cousin, Louie who is supported by them. My Auntie served in Hampshire police for 15 years, and unfortunately, due to ill health retired early. The Police Children’s charity supports children like Louie, whose parents have been either been ill health retired or sadly passed away. The charity provides financial assistance to Louie by way of a weekly grant which goes towards educational activities, that he otherwise might not be able to participate in. He also receives a birthday & Christmas payment which is greatly appreciated.

The support & kindness of the charity is invaluable to my Aunty & little cousin & I am running this race to honour their work & hopefully raise some extra funds & awareness of the charity.

Our mission is to provide police children with financial support and stability throughout their educational and developmental years following a significant change in family life.

Vision

Our Vision is that every child of a deceased or medically retired police officer from our 22 contributing forces has financial stability throughout their education.
