Hi everyone,

I will be running my second ever half marathon on 24 May 2026 as part of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival. I have chosen to complete this run in order to raise funds for Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity.

Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity are an incredible organisation who change the lives of so many children in Edinburgh and surrounding areas who are suffering from an illness and being met with the horrible impacts that come with it. This charity strive to create the most positive experience and supportive environment for these children as possible. Hospital visits for a child can already be so daunting as well as extremely worrying for their parent. The amazing work that ECHC are doing is attempting to make a positive change by minimising this fear and worry where possible. Children will always want to have fun. Why should hospital visits stop that?

Any support that any of you could provide would be greatly appreciated by both myself and ECHC. My last half marathon was a challenge to say the least. With some serious training incoming, I am ready to prepare and face my second in the hope that I can provide some well-deserved support for such an outstanding charity!
