For the past four and a half years I've either been pregnant, breastfeeding or caring for tiny children - all of this has played havoc with my body and my wardrobe, and fast fashion has been there to pick up the pieces.

The problem is behind Fast Fashion is the drive to increase profits and get products into our high street shops faster and faster. The drive to sell more, consume more, make more, waste more. This, however, has disastrous consequences for the people who make our clothes.

The Six Items Challenge is a fashion fast. It is designed to challenge fast fashion and raise vital funds for our work fighting for the rights of garment workers.
