On the 18th September 2025, I will be joining a group of determined Lloyds Banking Group colleagues to tackle the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, to raise money for Crisis and Simon Community.

Doing the Y3P has always been on my "bucket list" but something I thought I wouldn't get the opportunity to do (which being honest was as good an excuse as any) - but here I am, after throwing my hat in the ring and thinking there was no way that I'd be picked..!

I'd be daft to think that not only will I need determination and grit on the day, but also effort required over the next few months to train for this - aiming to complete it in 12 hours, it is by far the furthest, and highest I will have trekked.

Lloyds have already raised more than £3 million for this incredible cause - but we can't stop here. We believe that everyone should have a safe and secure place to call home, and this ambitious partnership will improve access to truly affordable, high-quality homes and support those who have experienced homelessness to rebuild their lives and reach their full potential.
