By the start of 2026, I had completed 30 official marathons and ultra marathons. I had a wild idea to reach 40 marathons and ultras in my 40th birthday year, and what better event to finish on than my 13th consecutive appearance at The Yorkshire Marathon in October?

To achieve this goal, I am taking on the Lake District Ultra Challenge on 7th June 2026. My challenge is to complete a total of 10 marathons by the end of October 2026. This journey is not just about personal achievement; it’s about making a difference.
