In Memory of Robyn – Our Challenge for St Michael’s Hospice

David Chapman is raising money for Saint Michael's Hospice
In memory of Robyn Ryan

4 Peak Challenge · 10 June 2027

Saint Michael’s is the local hospice care charity ensuring people affected by terminal illness can access high quality, personalised care. We help thousands of local people each year and make no charge. Each year we must raise £7 million to provide our range of services.

Story

Three years ago, Liam, a trusted and valued member of the G R Regan Roofing team, sadly lost his beautiful sister, Robyn, after a heartbreaking two-week battle with cancer.

During those incredibly difficult final weeks, Robyn was cared for by St Michael’s Hospice, who provided her and her family with incredible compassion, comfort and dignity when they needed it most. The support they gave during such an unimaginable time meant so much, and we want to do something special to give back to the amazing people who make that care possible.

In Robyn’s memory, Liam, David, David, Guy and Finn will be taking on the challenge of climbing the UK Three Peaks, alongside Blencathra, where Robyn’s ashes were spread, over the course of six days.

G R Regan Roofing is proud to support Liam in this incredibly meaningful challenge and is financing the hikes as part of its commitment to supporting him and this special cause.

This challenge is about so much more than climbing mountains. It’s about remembering Robyn, honouring her life, supporting Liam and his family, and raising money for a hospice that makes such a difference to families facing some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Blencathra holds a particularly special place in this challenge, as it’s where Robyn’s ashes were spread. Being able to climb it in her memory makes this journey even more meaningful to us. ❤️

We’re raising money for St Michael’s Hospice to help them continue providing the incredible care, comfort and support that Robyn and her family received, so that other families can be supported with the same kindness and compassion when they need it most.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will mean the world to us and help make a real difference.

If you’re able to donate or share our fundraiser, we’d be incredibly grateful.

For Robyn, for Liam and his family, and for every family supported by St Michael’s Hospice.

This one’s for you, Robyn. ❤️
