Story
In 2021, I received a bit of a shock after numerous mis diagnosis they found a 12cm cancerous tumour on my ovaries. Fear, uncertainty, and countless questions followed but thankfully, a full hysterectomy saved me.
Being now 35 and dealing with surgical menopause is a challenge but luckily I have the support of my family and friends.
This October I’m walking 100 miles for Ovarian Cancer Action to help fund lifesaving research. Please support if you can 🩷
Ovarian cancer kills more women than all the other gynaecological cancers combined. In the UK over 50% of women are diagnosed at an advanced stage, drastically reducing their chances of survival.
There is currently no screening tool for ovarian cancer, symptoms are often unknown and research is underfunded.
But there is hope. Ovarian Cancer Action are working to change this.
With ovarian cancer, early action can make all the difference.
By supporting my challenge you'll help fund their lifesaving ovarian cancer research that will give women the best chance of survival.
