Story
26 miles. I'm going to run 26.2 miles...
It's a really long way! And I'm going to run it. On my human feet!!
I've got to say, I'm rather terrified. This will be an epic challenge that I'm not sure I'm physically or mentally prepared to undertake. I'm going to have to dig deep to make it to the finish line, but not as deep as people who are battling the brutal treatments for Leukaemia.
For the next 6 months, I'll be training and fundraising for Leukaemia Care, the UK's leading charity dedicated to ensuring people with Leukaemia can access the best possible diagnosis, treatment, advice and care.
Two years ago, my brave young cousin was diagnosed with Leukaemia. There have been some terrifying moments over the past two years. The journey through treatment has been incredibly intense and had life changing impacts on my cousin and her family.
The amount of research and resources needed to get someone through a Leukaemia diagnosis are immense. I'm running so that families can get the treatment their children need.
Please support me over the next six months. I need your donations to get me out there, training through the winter!
Wish us all luck!
Thank you.
