On June 12th, 2026, the West Midlands Rock Choir is taking over Redditch United Football Club for an epic, non-stop 12-hour SINGATHON.

From 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, our voices will not stop. Led by Sonia Eyre and our dedicated team of West Midlands leaders (Mark, Hayley, Jacob, Rowan, and Nick), we are on a mission to raise vital funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

The Cause: Birmingham Children’s Hospital

Birmingham Children’s Hospital is a world-renowned specialist centre, treating over 100,000 children and young people every year. From life-saving surgeries and cutting-edge research to supporting families during their most difficult moments, they provide world-class care right here in our region.

We are singing to ensure these "precious children" have access to the very best equipment, the most supportive environments, and the brightest possible futures.

We’ll be powering through 45-minute relay blocks of the Rock Choir back-catalogue—from the power of The Power of Love to the energy of Don’t Stop Me Now—keeping the music going until the final note at 9:00 PM.

The physical challenge of singing for 12 hours and the logistics of organizing thousands of voices is a big task—but it is nothing compared to the battles the children at BCH face every day.
