Hi, I’m Rocko!

In February 2024, I arrived at Dogs Trust, just a 6 month old puppy, after suffering a terrible accident. I was badly scalded by boiling water and had some very painful injuries. One of my eyes was badly damaged, and after trying everything to save it, the vets had no option left but to remove it.

My body was also covered in third-degree burns that needed a lot of treatment. It was a long road to recovery, and now I have a little bald patch on my back as a reminder of what I’ve been through, but I wear it with pride!

Because my injuries were so severe, I couldn’t stay in regular kennels with the other dogs. But Dogs Trust made sure I got the very best care. They arranged all my medical treatment and surgeries, and found me a special foster home where I could rest, recover, and be surrounded by love and comfort while I healed.

By November 2024, I was fully recovered and finally ready to find my forever home… and that’s exactly what happened early in December!

Now, I’m going on an epic adventure. I’m going to walk the entire London Loop (that’s 150 miles!) one section at a time, to raise money for the amazing people at Dogs Trust who saved my life and help so many other dogs like me every single day.

I will do my best to do at least 1 section each weekend, meaning it may take me 6 months, my legs are only little so it will take me some time, but I’m determined! 😊
